Our Second Baby Shower:)

Well here we are 8 months pregnant!! Can you believe it? I know I can't:) Some days I just sit here and I am like Am I really pregnant? I see that I am but it still seems unbelievable at times. Only a few more weeks and we will have our little girl here, God is good:)

Well on the 16th of November my wonderful friends Rachel, Kim and Shannon threw me a beautiful baby shower. It was wonderful. We had 12 people there and the food, oh my gosh the food!! They really did a beautiful job with pink balloon's and it's a girl sign, pink carriages and safety pins decorating the table. I had a special cupcake which Rachel created from the ones she bought with a stork on it, so cute!!
We had veggies and dip, cucumbers on bread, fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches, a gorgeous fruit kabob display, and cupcakes from costco, my favorite!! They really did a beautiful job.

After we started eating we played some really fun games, baby word themed taboo, then kind of like a mad lib where they had to guess certain words of a story about us having a baby with names of chocolate bars and if they guessed the right name they got that chocolate bar. Then as I was opening presents the guests played BINGO and won more chocolate. We chatted and visited and it was a really fun time.

Then came the presents and we were so blessed, we got alot of adorable clothes and blankets and scrapbook stuff, our crib set and monitors, I can't begin to name everything we got but we were really blessed and are so thankful for such wonderful friends. It was the perfect shower and I loved every second of it. Thank you again Rachel, Shannon and Kim you guys are the best and I love you so much:)

So on the 25th we had another Doctor's appointment so the heartbeat sounds good and I feel her moving all the time and have even been able to make out a foot every now and then:) The Doctor said he thinks we are doing great, he may do an ultrasound at 36 week just to see how big she is and such since her last ultrasound she seemed big but he'll let us know at our next appointment which is on the 9th of December. He ordered more blood work to keep an eye on the anemia so he'll let me know how that was sometime this week I am sure. So all in all we are great, so excited!! 34 weeks and they say 37 weeks is term so anytime now is ok. We hope she stays in till at least 37 weeks, and have no reason to think she won't, so in the next 3 to 6 weeks we will be welcoming Olivia to this world!! Angel wants her here the 18th of Dec. but if she is anything like me, I was 3 weeks late, and with the Filipino in her chances are she will be later rather than sooner:)

So I will update again after blood results and if we have another ultrasound. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers and good wishes. This journey has been a long and exciting one and we could not have gotten through any of it without God and all our Family and friends and the support you have all given us. Thank you again so much and we'll update again soon:)

You look gorgeous, babe! I'm sooooo happy for you two, and it looks like things are going great. I was two weeks late personally and Gabe was actually three weeks early, but I'm still positive they miscalculated his due date, so here's hoping you can meet somewhere in the middle. ;) Looks like your friends and family are taking such good care of you - I wish I could be up there helping out!

I can't wait! You need to post more! And if you need anything, give me a call. :D

That may very well have been the best baby shower I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot! Thanks so much for inviting me. I'm so excited about the miracle God is doing in and through your lives. Praise God from whom all blessing flow!
