So last week Thursday October 22, we got a special surprise when Angel came home early from work and decided that we were gonna take our sweet girl to the pumpkin patch at Stoney Ridge Farms near Everson. We had been trying to get there but with Angel working so much and rainy days on the afternoons he had off we were finding it difficult. So he saw the day was ok, not great but not raining, and decided we better do it while we could:)
We had so much fun!! Olivia loved it!! We got there and saw all the pumpkins and scarecrows and started taking pictures. Then we made a quick stop at the coffee shop to get some hot chocolate and cider donuts...yum! Olivia tried a little donut and likes it, of course she is my daughter after all:) Then we went to look at the animals. She really loves looking at animals, all animals, she smiles and starts getting really excited so she just loves looking at them all. Now in where the horses are they have a couple of little saddle things you can sit on and take pictures but for some reason she hated them!! She started crying when I put her on the first one and then would not let go of me when we tried to put her on the second one so needless to say we left the saddle and decided to head to the pumpkin patch!!
We got on the wagon which actually was filled with hay so she got a hay ride to the pumpkin patch. We had fun looking around and picking out our pumpkin. After we found the one we liked we got a family picture and headed to the "little pumpkin patch" which Olivia really liked and had so much fun looking and touching all the small pumpkins!! She sat there and let us pile a bunch around her and take some pictures and then we let her pick the one she wanted. After that we headed back to the main gate and paid for our pumpkins and gourds I wanted for our Thanksgiving decorations and then we headed home!!
It was such a fun family time and we are excited to go every year as another one of our family traditions!! Posted some pictures from our fun time, hope you enjoy them!!
