Memorial Day Weekend

Hello again, I know we are a few weeks past Memorial Day weekend but as you know I am a bad blogger and still a bit behind so I have this blog 1 more and then we should be back on track to do a hopefully once a week blog!!

So Angel had to work over the weekend of Memorial Day, which is normal but he actually had a whole day off on Memorial Day so we got to plan a fun time!! We started by going out for breakfast becuase we both love to do that but never get a chance to. We went to Denny's and enjoyed a nice meal together then it was time to go back home for a bit and nap!! Maybe a Nap doesn't sound like much fun but believe me in this family napping is alot of fun and when we can all 3 nap together it's awesome!!

After our Nap we went to Whatcom Falls Park for a picnic and a walk through the trails. Angel and I and obviously Olivia have never been there before so we thought it would be nice to spend the day there together!! So we enjoyed some croissant sandwiches and chips with cheese and pickles:) We just ate some lunch and sat Olivia at the table with us in her bumbo seat, then we moved onto the blanket and just played with her. She loves looking at trees and people, of course, and we had her experience her first feeling of grass. She thought it seemed weird at first but then she seemed to like it. We also found a cute little flower and put it in her hair:)

Then we put her in the front pack, which she loves, and walked through by the falls and along the trails for a while and again Olivia LOVED it!!! She smiled and laughed and got excited everytime we passed anybody and loved looking around at everything, so cute!! Then after our trail walk we decided to give her her first swing ride. So we put her in the swing and again she LOVED it!! She was so cute and then while she ate Angel fed a squirrel that was close to where we were sitting.

All in all it was a fun day and I loved just having some special time with my sweetheart and my baby girl:) Got to experience some more firsts and just enjoy the day. I have posted some pictures of the day below, hope you enjoy and I'll give another update to get all caught up soon!!
