4Th Of July!!!

Hello!! Well I am a little behind but better than I was doing before:) The 4th of July was so much fun for us!! I bought Olivia a cute little "All American Cutie" outfit in the red white and blue along with a cool hair bow!! After I put it on her Angel and I were kind of laughing because although she was born in the USA she isn't all American at all in fact she no American in her at all, Angel is Filipino and I am Canadian so we thought that was funny!!

We started off the festivities on the 3rd, Angel was working so Olivia and I went out with my dear friend Kim and her little guy Luke!! We went to the mall and then over to their place for a B-B-Q. Howie had made delicious burgers and zucchini fries and so we sat out front of their place and had a fun little picnic!!

On the actual 4th Angel was off work!! YAY!! He was originally scheduled to work but it changed last minute so that was really exciting for us! We went to Blaine for the parade, which Olivia LOVED!! We bought her a cute purple flower and tried to get into subway to eat but it was crazy busy! So we went into Bellingham and ate at Subway there and then we went to Fred Meyer and bought some sparklers and a few fireworks to set off at Meemaw and Papa's house later. It was so fun to just hang out for the day with my family!! We got ice cream at baskin Robbins and just enjoyed spending time together:)

Around 4 we went out to Meemaw and Papa's house for a B-B-Q!! Delicious ribs and corn on the cob, baked beans, potato salad, and I made a cheesecake for dessert!! We just hung out and visited, Olivia laid on a sheet in the shade in the backyard and she napped a couple times. Meemaw was taking pictures of her like crazy as were we:) She really loves spending time with them and they hung out on her blanket with her and it was so fun! Angel kept setting off some of the little fireworks we bought throughout the evening and then realized he wanted to do more so he went into town and bought a few more for when it got dark!!

Once it was dark we changed Olivia into a warmer outfit and went out to watch Daddy's fireworks show!! Angel did great we had so much fun but I didn't get very many good pictures:( We did fireworks and then watched the neighbours fireworks, they were going off all around us so it was pretty Cool!

We headed home and put our sleeping beauty to bed!! All in all it was just an awesome fun first 4th of July with our sweet girl and my wonderful husband and of course the awesome Meemaw and Papa! We decided since it was so much fun we are going to do that every year as 1 of our family traditions which is so great because I had alot of traditions growing up, some of which we still do but it's nice to start some new ones of our own!!
