Olivia is 8 months old today!! She is getting so big and doing so wonderful we are just so happy and excited to have her and get to love her every day!!!
Olivia has been her normal social self, she got to meet a new friend Patrick from Montana!! Patrick's Mom, Lacey, and I were on the same message board for woman having trouble getting pregnant and it turns out she is best friends with my friend Ambritt!!! Small world! So when Lacey brought Patrick to visit Ambritt we were able to meet and the kids all got to have fun together!! A Couple weeks later we were able to make a play date at Cornwall park with some of our birthing class mom's and babies, we got to visit with Maggie, Sydney, Kate and Logan!! Such beautiful babies and awesome Mom's, I love that we still get together and visit and keep in touch!! We also had a special visit with Meemaw and Papa when they came over for dinner!! She loves them so much and they are so good to her, we are just truly blessed to have these wonderful people in our lives.
On September 3rd our sweet little girl started crawling and hasn't stopped since!! In fact she just keeps getting faster and faster:) She can't get to sitting position from crawling just yet but has no trouble sitting up in her crib!! Several times when she has woken up and I go in to get her she is sitting there as cute as can be!! Because of this new sitting in the crib thing Daddy had to go to work and lower her crib mattress. This was somewhat traumatic for Mommy, as silly as it seems, it just seems she is growing so fast and doing so many things it sometimes hits me and I need a moment, but I quickly recovered and and doing much better now:)
Olivia is doing great with her eating she now eats 2nd stage food and loves vegetables more than fruit!! She also eats her puffs, and teething biscuits called mum mums! She loves them as does Daddy!! Now the puffs thing was funny because if we put them in her mouth she would eat them no problem but if we put them on her tray she would pick them up and look at them but not put them in her mouth, now everything else she owns goes in her mouth but no the puffs, so finally she started picking them up and eating them on her own!! She is so cute when she puts them in her mouth and uses her other hand to direct them in there, I love her SOOOOOO much!!
Olivia is a busy active little sweetheart!! She helps Mom doing cooking and baking and she loves her new blocks we bought her. You cannot build a tower without her getting over there and knocking it down within seconds, she loves playing and is getting into everything. So fun seeing her explore and chasing after her while she gets into everything....can't wait till she starts walking....well maybe I can wait a while longer!!
Angel and I are doing great, Angel is working as hard as ever and I love being at home with my sweet girl. The fall gets busier with story time starting and my bible study starting back up again. We are also looking at doing swimming lessons in October with Olivia and are so excited for her pictures to be done on the 21st and then Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and then OH MY her FIRST BIRTHDAY!!! Wow it's going by fast but we love every minute of it!! I've posted some more pictures below enjoy and hope you all enjoy this awesome fall weather!! My favorite time of the year!
