Olivia Got her Ears Pierced!!!

So while we were in Las Vegas for 10 days on January 2, 2010, Miss Olivia got her ears pierced. Now Angel and I had talked about it and discussed the pros and cons and really hadn't made a final decision. I knew it was something he really wanted to do and something that is important to his culture so while we were at the outlet mall his Mom said "hey why don't we get Olivia's ears pierced while we are here, do you want to do that?" Now I was hesitant and taking a moment and Angel is like "YES! let's do it" So everyone is like "okay great!!" and we start walking towards the piercing place. Now I am still back at "um well maybe, am not sure" but then I figured we want to eventually anyway so why not now when she won't remember it hurting.

So although I know different people feel different about it we decided to do it and I am so glad we did. We picked out these cute Minnie earrings which Angel's Mom paid for as it was her first birthday gift to Olivia and we sat in the chair. They first mark to make sure it is even and then they have you hold her arms down and her head back....which I think would freak kids out but she did fine. Then they started they pierced the first one and she was fine no crying or anything then after the second one she cried a bit and seemed to settle quickly but then everyone... I mean like 10 family members were all there watching and then they cheered for her and I think it startled her and she burst in to tears again.... I know mean Mommy and daddy for making our girl cry but she did really great an we have had no problem at all with them!!
