Easter is so much fun! Last year we decorated the house, decorated eggs with Olivia mad a cake and all the traditional things I always want to do with her, this year however it was different. Since we don't have our own place we didn't really decorate and decorating eggs didn't really work out either. So although I was a little disappointed that we didn't so our traditions it was exciting to spend our first Easter with Angel's family. Mom and Angelie had planned a fun picnic at the park and we decided to all go to church together so we were looking forward to Easter Sunday with the family.
Easter morning Olivia woke up and the Easter bunny had left her a really cute basket!! She had a mickey mouse Easter book, Minnie Mouse Bowtique video, a little chick that sings "you are my sunshine", some peeps, a bunny with velcro ears, egg shaped sidewalk chalk and a little chocolate bunny!! She was so excited and happy with her basket and she was so cute to watch as she tried peeps for the first time!!
So after basket time we had some breakfast and then got dressed up for church. After church we changed and headed out to the park for the BBQ picnic. It was a windy day but we had alot of fun because everyone, except Randy and his wife and their kids, were there and we even got to spend the day with Auntie Tammy who was visiting from Florida!! Olivia wore her bunny ears and walked around spending time with her Tita's. The food was great and she got a white bunny from Mama and she really enjoyed trying to eat that. The kids ice cream truck came by so we bought Liv a Dora ice cream, now the thing looked demented and a little scary, but she seemed to enjoy it!
So after the picnic we went back to Mom and Dad's to visit and had a nice evening together. So our first Easter in Vegas was fun and we are excited to have many more holiday together with all the family!!
