July 2012

Well July has come and gone and although I posted about the 4th of July and Olivia and Malaya's special Day we did a lot of fun things and the kids grow and develop so much I wanted to do a monthly update with some more pictures.

So let me start with Malaya, he was 20 months on the 8th of July and I can't believe the time is going by so fast, pretty soon he won't be my little baby anymore. Here are some updates on him,

-He has had some trouble with his weight he is a tiny guy and he in the 5% for weight at his 18 month appointment and a little under his weight from his 15 month appointment so we have been taking him in to get weighed every month. He only was up an ounce this month so he will keep getting weighed each month to make sure he is going up.....we will keep you posted on this :)

-he loves to "pray". Before a meal or at bed and then any other time of the day like when he is in time out, or playing on his train he just stops and folds his hands mumbles something and then says "AMEN" really loud.

- He loves swimming in our pool at our complex and the water park at Cornwall Park here in Bellingham.

- he loves playing with keys and riding his mickey mouse train around everywhere. He is always putting his drink cups and anything else he can in the seat compartment and then rides around and around the table....so funny.

-He will walk up and kiss you if you cry or even if you fake cry, sometimes I fake cry just to get a few extra kisses.

-he LOVES Chuck E Cheese and screams if he sees him on a commercial

-he is a sweet and cuddly very affectionate little boy, he loves to cuddle and my favorite time of the day is his nap and bedtime because we still rock him and cuddle him and he just loves it. We sing and he sings with us and he rubs our face and arms and gives us hugs....it is so awesome....best part of my day everyday!!

Olivia is a sweet girl, I always tell her she is beautiful because she has a sweet heart. She loves to take care of people and she is just so loving and affectionate. I can't believe she is going to be 4 soon....this is all going by way too fast!! Here are some updates on Liv,


- Olivia loves to watch her "dancing birdie movie", RIO.

- She loves playing with her new dollhouse

- she always wants to color and paint and she will sit for hours to do anything crafty.

- she pretends a lot now and creates stories with her dollies and it is so fun and interesting to hear her talking and making up stories and songs.

- she loves to swim and is getting better and better, she also loves the water park at Cornwall.

She is obsessed with band-aids, but that is a blog within itself....I will post on that later.


Angel and I are doing well. Trying to keep to our new budget we have set. Angel had a huge change in jobs as he gave his notice at Wendy's and is now working at Fred Meyer here on Lakeway in Bellingham. Kind of felt like a little step down because he was management at Wendy's but is a cashier at Fred's however the hours are great only 40 instead of 50 a week and although he is not guaranteed 40 hours a week yet and is making a small amount less him being home more has allowed me to work more hours at my internet job and that is supplementing the income and within 3 months he will hopefully have a full time spot and will be making a lot more than he did at Wendy's and working 10 hours a week less. This is a huge blessing and answer to prayer.

So that is pretty much the summary for July we go to the park and do the water park and make as much use of our pool here as we can. We went to a kids fest thing one day and they had a lot of fun there. I like to take the kids shopping just me and them every once and a while, they love playing at the "little MC Donald's", they have a preschool play area, we just love anything and everything we can do as a family....even our grocery shopping days are fun!!

We feel very blessed and are so thankful everyday for our kids and each other. God has been very faithful to us and we are proud of the changes and things we are doing to make us to be able to be the people God wants us to be......thank you for checking in on us and reading our updates and for all your prayers and support it means the world to us and we love you all so very much!!
